Type VA LCD panel VA type liquid crystal panel is the most widely used in display products at present,most of them are used in high-end products,16.7M color (8bit panel) and relatively large viewing Angle is one of the most obvious technical features, now the VA panel is divided into two types:MVA and PVA.
MVA type LCD panel: The full name is Multi-domain Vertical Alignment, which is a multi-quadrant vertical alignment technique. In addition, based on these two types, an improved type is extended: The two panel types, S-PVA and P-MVA, tend to be more advanced in the development of technology. The viewing Angle can reach 170 degrees, the response time is also controlled within 20 milliseconds (with Overdrive acceleration can reach 8ms GTG), and the contrast can easily exceed the high level of 700:1 technology.
Ips-type liquid crystal panel : IPS-type liquid crystal panel has a large viewing Angle, delicate color and a series of advantages, LCD panel looks more transparent, this is one of the methods to identify IPS-type liquid crystal panel, many of PHILIPS ‘LCD monitors are IPS-type LCD panels. S-IPS is the second generation of IPS technology, which again introduces some relatively new technologies to improve the gray scale reversal phenomenon of IPS mode at some relatively specific angles.
TN type liquid crystal panel: this type of liquid crystal panel is generally used in entry-level and some mid-end products, the price is relatively affordable,low, and is selected by many manufacturers. Compared with the previous two types of LCD panel, the technical performance is slightly inferior, it can not show 16.7M gorgeous color, can only achieve 16.7M color (6bit panel) but the response time is easy to improve. The viewing Angle is also limited to a certain extent, and the viewing Angle will not exceed 160 degrees.In the current market, most of the products within 8ms response time are TN LCD panels.
