In the COG assembly and production process of LCD display,the IC should be mounted on the ITO glass pin,so that the pin on the ITO glass and the pin on the IC can connect and conduct. With the continuous development of fine wire technology,COG process has higher and higher requirements on the cleanliness of ITO glass surface.Therefore,no organic or inorganic substances can be left on the surface of the glass before IC bonding,in order to prevent the influence of the conductivity between ITO glass electrode and IC BUMP,and later corrosion problems.
In the current ITO glass cleaning process,COG production process everyone is trying to use a variety of cleaning agents,such as alcohol cleaning,ultrasonic cleaning,to clean the glass. However,the introduction of cleaning agents may cause other related problems such as detergent residue.Therefore,to explore a new cleaning method has become the direction of LCD-COG manufacturers.
